Jamie R. Minor has been in private practice for 18 years. Her practice is comprised primarily of commercial and residential real estate, estate planning and estate administration matters. Jamie has represented real estate developers and property owners in a variety of transactions, including development projects, commercial loan transactions, sales, and purchases. As part of her estate planning and estate administration practice, Jamie advises families, individuals, and businesses on how to efficiently navigate the probate process, distribute assets, and plan for the future.
Prior to becoming licensed as an attorney, Jamie worked as a title agent for Cornerstone Real Estate Title Company, Ltd. In this position, she handled a variety of real estate matters, including complex commercial transactions, and oversaw the Company’s daily operations and legal matters.
Jamie graduated Cum Laude from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where she was a member of the Chi Omega sorority and Mortar Board. Jamie earned her Juris Doctorate in 2006 from the University of Akron School of Law. Jamie practices in all Ohio Courts and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. She is a member of the Stark County Bar Association and Ohio State Bar Association. Jamie serves on the Community Involvement Committee of the Stark County Bar Association, where she plays an integral role in planning and participating in community outreach. Additionally, she is a graduate of the Leadership Stark County Spotlight Program and mentors young lawyers through the Lawyer to Lawyer Mentoring Program administered by the Ohio Supreme Court.
Jamie resides in Canton, Ohio, with husband, Chad, and their two sons. They attend 3rd Street Community Church, where they both serve in leadership capacities. When they are not busy attending their sons’ sporting events, they enjoy hiking, golfing and volunteering with local non-profit organizations, including UrbanArk and Refuge of Hope.
