Kelsey M. Sullivan has been in private practice for 5 years. She primarily serves her clients throughout Ohio in the areas of residential and commercial real estate, business organization and governance, and mergers and acquisitions.

Kelsey’s real estate practice focuses on the drafting, negotiation, and implementation of real estate purchase transactions involving commercial and residential real property. She assists clients ranging from developers and investors to families and small businesses with the complex nature of due diligence, commercial and residential leases, environmental issues, oil & gas, and easements, liens, and other encumbrances affecting real property.

Her business practice focuses on entity formation and governance, succession planning, the sale and purchase of assets, mergers and acquisitions, and other complex business transactions. She enjoys assisting clients with properly structuring and negotiating these types of transactions and navigating the legal issues involved therewith.

Kelsey graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Mount Union where she played soccer for one year. She received her Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Akron McDowell School of Law in 2019 and is admitted to practice in all Ohio Courts and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. She is a member of the Stark County and Ohio State Bar Associations, and a graduate of the Leadership Stark County Spotlight Program. Kelsey also has served as outside counsel for a local township and serves on the Board of Directors for Canton for All People, Inc., a local nonprofit organization focused on improving public safety, enhancing public health, and providing affordable housing and educational opportunities for communities within the City of Canton.

Kelsey lives in Plain Township with her husband, Nolan, their daughter, Lily, and two dogs, Finn and Milo. Kelsey and Nolan are both graduates of GlenOak High School (Plain Local Schools) where Nolan was a 3-sport athlete and Kelsey was a 4-year Varsity letter winner for girls’ soccer. They truly value their personal ties to Plain Township and the Plain Township School District, where Nolan is now a teacher. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, attending concerts, any outdoor activity, and spending time with friends and family.
