Kelsey Kochman Davis is currently in her third year of private practice. Kelsey focuses primarily in the areas of estate planning and administration, civil litigation, residential and commercial real estate, and corporate law. Kelsey serves clients primarily in Stark County and Tuscarawas County, where she has a satellite office that she works at a few days a week.
Kelsey’s practice focuses on serving both businesses and individuals in a variety of areas. Her expanding experience in civil litigation, estate planning/administration, real estate and corporate law provides a comprehensive service to her clients. She has represented businesses in the succession plan process, organization structure, real estate transactions, and litigation matters related to real estate and other general issues. Her estate planning and estate administration practice involves providing tailored estate plans to meet each client’s individual needs, preparing estate tax returns, conducting trust administrations, and representing estates through the probate process. She has represented individuals and businesses in civil litigation matters, including, real property disputes, estate disputes, landlord/tenant disputes, and other legal matters. She is licensed to practice in Ohio and the Northern District of Ohio (Federal).
Kelsey graduated from the University of Akron in 2018 with bachelor’s degrees in Marketing Management and Integrated Marketing Communications, as well as a minor in Entrepreneurship. In 2021, Kelsey graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Akron College of Law, graduating in the Top 5% of her class. While in law school, Kelsey served as an Assistant Editor and Associate Editor for the Akron Law Review and on the Moot Court team. Kelsey also served as an Academic Success Assistant for Property Law. Kelsey was awarded 7 CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for earning the highest grades in several courses, including Civil Procedure, Legislation and Regulation, Advanced Litigation, and Torts.
Kelsey is involved with several groups and is dedicated to furthering education in her community. She serves on the Board of Directors and the Scholarship Review Committee for the Indian Valley Foundation, a non-profit organization that awards scholarships and building grants to advance the education in Indian Valley Local Schools. Kelsey has previously served on the Board of Directors for the Tuscarawas Arts Partnership and has been involved in several women-based entrepreneurial groups to encourage the success of women-owned businesses in Tuscarawas County.
Kelsey resides in Gnadenhutten, Ohio, with her husband, Jake, and three young sons, Dawson, Carter and Emmett. Her family is deeply rooted in southern Tuscarawas County and are avid Indian Valley Braves fans. She attends Authentic Church in New Philadelphia, Ohio. Kelsey enjoys attending sporting events, traveling, reading crime mysteries, and spending time with her family and friends.
